Después de una mala jornada para el tenis español en el Open 500 de Hamburgo, Juan Carlos consiguió remontar su partido e imponerse ante el checo Jan Hajek. Comenzó perdiendo el primer set por 5-1 aunque finalmente se hizo con la primera manga en el tie-break. Después, el segundo fue un auténtico paseo y cerró el encuentro por 7-6 6-1 pasando así a la tercera ronda. JC se agarró y mostró una gran capacidad de lucha en el partido lo que demuestra el gran nivel que puede volver a alcanzar - After a really bad day for the Spanish tennis team in the Hamburg Open 500, Juan Carlos got the victory against the Czech Jan Hajek. He started loosing the first set per 5-1. That was the moment when JC started to play his best tennis for, finally, winning the first set per 7-6. Later, the second set has no story. He defeated to the Czech per 7-6 6-1 and now, he is classified for the third round. JC fighted the whole match what shows everybody that he can reach again a great level.
